Aftercare & Expectations

Whether you’re researching to see if an aesthetic treatment is right for you, or you have just had a treatment and want to know how to maintain the results, we’re here to help. Below you will find instructions for pre- and post-treatment to ensure the best possible results

Man Getting Botox

  • (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, Jeuveau)

  • No skincare, sunscreen, or makeup after injection for 24 hours.

  • Stay upright for 4 hours after injection.

  • Do not wear hats or headbands if treating the forehead.

  • Avoid exercise for 12—24 hours after treatment.

  • It will typically take up to 2 weeks to see the final results.

  • Temporary bruising is normal.

  • 5-5-5 Method: Plan to massage the treatment area to prevent lumps at least 5 times a day, for a minimum of 5 minutes for the first 5 days.

  • Swelling and fullness are normal for 2—4 days after treatment. Following this time, the product will seem to "disappear" while it works to slowly build collagen within the skin for 4—6 weeks.

  • Temporary bruising is normal.

Botox Treatment

  • Swelling and bruising are normal for up to 1—2 weeks after treatment.

  • Lumps and bumps are normal for up to 4 weeks after treatment.

  • You must avoid vaccines and/or dental work for 2 weeks prior and post-treatment.

  • Day of Procedure: Apply "LIFT" only as needed for moisture. Avoid sun exposure. Expect skin to feel dry, raw, and appear red like a sunburn. Be sure to use a clean pillow, towel, and mask for the following 3 days to reduce the risk of infection. Do not wash the treated area. Do not exercise.

  • Days 2—3: Apply "LIFT" only
throughout day 2. Cleanse with warm water if needed. You may introduce cleanser on day 3. Avoid sun exposure and exercise.

  • Day 4 & Beyond: Resume regular exercise, makeup, and skincare regimen as instructed. Avoid sun for a minimum of 7 days after treatment.

  • You may expect to see prominent swelling in the area treated for up to a week. Do not be alarmed if the affected area doubles in size—this is normal and to be expected.

  • You will notice a gradual improvement in swelling over 4—6 weeks after treatment.

  • Peak results may take up to 6 weeks.

  • Temporary bruising is normal.

Hair Treatment

  • Follow the same practices as CIT treatment.

  • If injected, you may expect to see bruising and swelling in the treated areas for about 2 days before the product "disappears". This is similar to the effects of Sculptra.

  • Hair Restoration: A headache and itching are normal for up to 2 weeks following treatment.

  • Do not massage or wash hair for at least 24 hours.

  • Use a clean pillow and towel following treatment.

  • No hair treatments for 2 weeks.
